I am the Director and Head Teacher of Tea Sprouts Preschool since 2003, but I have been in the teaching field since 2000.
I have degrees in the following:
Early Childhood Education - Bachelor's Degree from SDSU
Elementary Education - Bachelor's Degree from DSU
Master's of Computer Education & Technology from DSU
In 2015, I was among Tea Area School District's Teacher of the Year Finalists.
I am also in the Nation's Top 1% of the Top Teacher's in America - Who's Who
In 2011, I was added to the Who's Who Among Executives & Professionals.
I have a very loving husband, a beautiful 13 year old daughter named Grace who enjoys cross country and basketball, and an active 5 year old son named Bennett who enjoys basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer, and running (pretty much any sport). They are all the loves of my life. They all keep me very busy and I enjoy spending every minute I can with them. We enjoy going on adventures together and watching hockey, baseball, and basketball (especially the SDSU Jackrabbits).
I enjoy reading, having fun with my family, going on adventures, and learning. I also love to share my new found knowledge with anyone who will listen.
I LOVE teaching young children - each day brings about new and exciting things. Thank you for letting me have the honor to help teach your child and make their future brighter. I look forward to another wonderful and exciting school year!
